Logistics tender: a proposal for your operation

Looking for a logistics provider in Girona for your tender? We assess RFQs and RFPs for warehousing, order fulfilment and transport from Celrà.

Which logistics services do you need?

We can assess a complete operation or specific services. We check product suitability, volumes and service requirements before confirming our offer.

What we need to prepare a quotation

If you have a tender brief or rate template, email it to us. Otherwise, we can start with the following summary:

  • Products and SKUs: goods, weights, dimensions and storage or handling requirements.
  • Normal and peak volumes: stored pallets, inbound deliveries, orders, lines and units; campaigns and seasonality.
  • Origins and destinations: postcodes, frequency, parcels or pallets, weights and loading or unloading needs.
  • Services and rates: included operations, charging units, packaging materials, returns and additional services.
  • Service requirements: working hours, deadlines, SLA/KPI measures, traceability, integrations and required documentation.
  • Tender timeline: response deadline, expected service term, operational start date and contact person.

From your brief to a comparable offer

  1. Understand the requirements

Send us the scope, volumes and available documentation.

  2. Review the operation

Clarify product, capacity, process and service-level requirements.

  3. Define the proposal

Set out services, rates, costing assumptions and exclusions so you can compare offers.

  4. Agree the launch plan

Once the proposal is accepted, agree the timeline, instructions and information needed to start.

Logistics tender questions

What is a logistics tender?

It is a selection process in which a company requests and compares logistics providers’ proposals against a common scope and criteria. It can cover warehousing, order fulfilment, transport or a combination of services.

What is the difference between an RFQ and an RFP?

An RFQ (Request for Quotation) asks for rates against defined requirements. An RFP (Request for Proposal) also asks how the service would be organised. The exact requirements depend on each tender’s instructions.

How can I invite Gestocks to take part?
