Food logistics deserves special attention.
At Gestocks, we can store food products and connect warehousing with order preparation and distribution. We are registered with the RSIPAC and RGSEAA for our food-related activities.
Every food product has its own storage, identification and stock rotation requirements. Before starting, we review the product’s characteristics and the manufacturer’s instructions to define operations suited to our facilities and registered activities.
What matters in food logistics?
- Product storage conditions
- Storage conditions must follow the manufacturer’s instructions and suit the characteristics of each food product.
- Batch traceability
- Batch, receiving and dispatch information makes it possible to track goods movements and respond to an incident.
- Dates and stock rotation
- Use-by and best-before dates help plan dispatches and reduce the risk of product waste.
Defining and implementing IFS Logistics v3 prerequisite programmes
We are working on defining and implementing IFS Logistics v3 prerequisite programmes for storage service providers, tailored to our warehouse operations.
This work focuses on hygiene and cleaning, facility maintenance, pest prevention and the organisation of controls. The aim is to establish working practices that preserve the condition of food products during storage.

We are registered with the Sanitary Register of Food Industries and Products of Catalonia (RSIPAC) and Spain’s national General Sanitary Register of Food Businesses and Foodstuffs (RGSEAA).
Registration identifies the establishment and its registered food-related activities. We assess each project against this scope and the product’s requirements.
