What data do we collect?
We collect the details you enter in the form: full name, company, email address, requested service and message. Telephone number and approximate volume are optional. We also record the enquiry date, a reference and confirmation that you have read the privacy information.
Data are provided directly by the person contacting us. Please avoid including sensitive information or third-party data that are not needed to explain your enquiry. If you represent a company, provide your professional contact details.
What do we use your data for?
We use them to handle your enquiry, assess your logistics needs, prepare a quote and communicate about your request. The form does not subscribe you to any marketing list.

What is the legal basis for processing?
When you request a quote or a service, processing is based on the pre-contractual steps you request. Professional contact enquiries are handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in communicating with the company you represent. Requests to exercise data protection rights are handled to meet our legal obligations.
Do you have to provide your data?
Fields marked with an asterisk are needed to process your enquiry through the form. It cannot be submitted without them. You can also contact Gestocks by email or telephone.
Acknowledging the privacy information confirms that you have been informed about processing; it does not authorise advertising uses or waive your rights.
How long are data kept?
The retention criterion is the time needed to handle and follow up your enquiry. If a contractual relationship is established, the periods relevant to that relationship and legal obligations apply. Data that must be retained to address potential liabilities will be restricted to that purpose.
Retention is determined by whether the request remains open, whether actions or claims are outstanding and whether a retention obligation applies. When data are no longer needed, they should be deleted or, where required, blocked for the applicable period.
Who can access your data?
The Gestocks team handling enquiries and the technical providers needed to host and maintain the website may process the data. Submissions are stored on ChatGPT Sites hosting. When the email service is active, Brevo sends notifications to gestocks@gestocks.cat with the submitted details and, for job applications, the attached CV. Gestocks’s email provider also processes and stores these messages. Data may also be disclosed where legally required.

What are your rights and how can you exercise them?
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data and, where applicable, restriction of processing, objection and portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
- Access: find out whether we process your data and obtain information about that processing.
- Rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: request deletion when the conditions set out in the rules are met.
- Restriction: request that use of the data be limited in the cases provided by law.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Portability: receive the data you provided in a reusable format where automated processing is based on consent or a contract.
Send your request to gestocks@gestocks.cat or our contact address, stating the right you wish to exercise. We will only request additional information to verify your identity if necessary. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Requests are generally handled within one month. Where justified by their complexity or number, this period may be extended as permitted by law, with notice to the person concerned.
Are decisions automated?
The form records your request for our team to assess. It does not automatically decide whether to provide a service or create marketing profiles.
Marketing communications and newsletter
Contact, job application and supplier forms do not subscribe you to the newsletter. You subscribe only by entering your email in the dedicated form and pressing the subscription button after reading the accompanying information.
Newsletter processing is based on your consent. When subscriptions are active, we share your email with Brevo, the platform we use to manage the list and send messages. We also record the date, language, source page and accepted consent wording. To limit abusive submissions, we store a hashed technical identifier that changes daily; we do not use it for advertising.
You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe using the link in the emails or by writing to gestocks@gestocks.cat. We retain the data while your subscription is active and, where necessary, the minimum information needed to evidence consent, address liabilities and honour your unsubscribe request.
Job applications and supplier proposals
When you submit a job application, we collect your name, email address, CV and, if provided, phone number, area of interest and message. We use these to assess your application and contact you about employment opportunities, as steps taken at your request before possible employment.
When you submit a supplier proposal, we collect the company details, contact person, email address, proposal and optional phone number. We use them to consider a collaboration and maintain professional communication, based on pre-contractual steps you request or our legitimate interest in communicating with the company you represent.
Applications and documents are stored with access restricted to the Gestocks management account. They are not published on the website. They are kept for as long as needed to assess and follow up on your application or proposal, then deleted, subject to applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion by writing to gestocks@gestocks.cat.
Please send only the professional information needed. Identity documents and sensitive information are not required. These forms do not subscribe you to marketing communications or make automated decisions about your application or proposal.
Scope and updates to this policy
This policy covers enquiries, job applications, supplier proposals and newsletter subscriptions submitted through the website. Processing associated with other relationships or services, where applicable, will be explained in the relevant specific information. This text will be reviewed when features or processing conditions change.
